Gnome: Maximize A Window Vertically Or Horizontally Using A Single Click [Quick Linux Tip] [Update: Also Works In KDE And XFCE]
This might also work in KDE
, but I've only tested it in Gnome. Update: thanks to the readers comments, it seems this also works in KDE and XFCE!
-To maximize a window horizontally,
RIGHT click
on the window maximize button. Exactly, right click it instead of left clicking it:
-To maximize a window vertically,
middle click
on the window maximize button:
