Gedit Macro Plugin records a set of keys pressed in gedit and allows the user to repeat the same keystrokes using Macro menu or shortcut key (Ctrl + M). This is a copy of the Macro feature available in Notepad++ for Windows.
To install this plugin, download the archive, extract it and copy the files in the "build" folder to ~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins (if the 'plugins' folder does not exist, create it). Then enable it in Gedit by going to Edit > Preferences > Plugins.
Nothing much to say about this plugin, it does what it's supposed to and does it well.
